Spring Has Sprung

Lake Tahoe definitely looked a lot different from the last time I've been here. All the snow melted away, and the sun was blaring just enough to get me shvitzing a bit. Toodles winter, hello spring.

Last weekend I was swooped away out of San Francisco into Lake Tahoe to celebrate my 29th (ugh, just kill me now) birthday with Cody. I love the fact that Tahoe is far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of the City, but close enough to be surrounded by nature without feeling like you've fallen through the closet into Narnia.

I've always been a firm believer that anything is whatever you make of it, so these last couple years I decided to make nothing big of my birthday. Maybe it's me coping with being closer to turning the big 3-0? Could be, who knows. Turning 30 in gay years is pretty much saying you're dead to the rest of the world. Good thing I get that good youthful skin from my mom though. I mean, just saying. #Igotitfrommymomma.

Snatch Up: Shoeicide Options

Spring is coming up and I've been on the look out for a new pair of kicks to wear into the warm weather coming up. I had to take a moment to look into my closet to realize that I have like no sneakers. And by none, I really mean 1 pair which I wear while sweating it out at the gym, which is like, rarely.

I am so late on the "trainers" trend wagon. I would see these urban street stylist rocking Nike trainers along with their normal attire and I just wouldn't get it. Personally, I still think it looks kind of redic when I see these boyz wearing button ups, skinny denims, and Nike Free Runs. But hey, to each his own.

I do however, am obsessed with these kicks. They're sporty enough to wear casually, yet stylish enough to commit shoeicide while strolling the city. Oooh, I be killin' em *Fabo voice*. I've been debating on whether or not dropping a month worth of rent on the Valentino's. I know... how #firstworldproblems of me, huh? I want a pair of each. My birthday is coming up, who wants to send me them?

Pisces Season

It's been hella ugly this past week, but it's all good. Cody and I still mustered up some time and energy (all I wanna do is stay in bed when it's rainy out) to shoot some pictures for you guys despite the dreary mood San Francisco has been in this past week. I guess we needed the rain though, right? Isn't California in a little drought or something?

I got this B. Scott coat a couple years ago downtown at Industrie Denim. The double paneling collar and the camel color is the reason why I got it in the first place. I love B. Scott's designs, he always has these intricate details on the collars, cowl necks, and extra zippers on his coats. I've been having trouble finding any more of his garments in San Francisco now, so I'll have to visit his studio next time I make my way to  L.A.

My birthday is coming up in a couple weeks! Shout out to all the Pisces readers out there. We all know Pisces' are the business. Over the years, I've realized your birthday is what you make of it. So this year, I've decided to make it something special. It was the day I was born.
