Getting Spooked

Happy November, everyone! It's officially the start of the holiday season. I'm not usually into the holidays (everything after Halloween is blah-zay blah to me), but I'm actually excited for this coming holiday. What's happening to me?

Last week, Cody and I kicked off our Halloween weekend by attending Spookfest at the Oracle in Oakland. So it's basically one big massive rave. 15,000 attendees to be exact. It was bananas, to say the least. Not to mention the awesome Calvin Harris was the headliner. So you know the craziness was just building up until Mr. We Found Love In A Hopeless Place came on.

Pulled out my Lieutenant hat I got at a vintage shop last year. And Cody made for a cute sailor boy, with a hat that I also bought at a vintage shop last year. Loves it. I need to pull this hat out of my closet more often.

Look out weekend cause here I come. Because weekends were made for fun. The entire party was a lot of fun and the energy was great. Not to mention R3hab and Benny Benassi were there as well. So. So. So. Good. The funny thing is that you can't necessarily "see" who was spinning... you just felt the music!

It's true. This guy we were next to had this t-shirt that you could write things one with this laser pen. This kept me occupied for a good 3 minutes. So cool.

My favorite shot of the night... Pretty much sums up the ambiance of the night. I had so much fun. Never been into the rave scene, but this party was groovy. Calvin Harris was such a good time. Of course he played "We Found Love", and of course I went crazy, and of course everyone else did as well.

Again, Happy November everyone! What's everyone's holiday plans?
