Day Off With Cindy Sherman

I had the day off today... while it was semi warm and sunny! Thank goodness. Because either Mother Nature is sipping on that Haterade on me, or my luck just isn't all that great, because it's been breezy and cold my last couple days off.

I ended up waking up before 12pm, which is rare on my days off. A gal needs her beauty rest, okuurrrr. So I decided to check out Cindy Sherman's new exhibit at San Francisco's MoMa.

I had no idea what to expect. All I knew about Sherman was that she played the role of photographer and model in her photography work. She also served as her own stylist, hair, and make up artist during her photoshoots, basically being a one woman show. All stylized by herself - Me, Myself, and I style.

Here's a tidbit of Cindy Sherman dressed up as some of her many characters. Really though, this isn't even a minuscule of the different personas she took on throughout her extensive art career. The exhibit was... interesting to say the lease. I actually really did enjoy her photography from the mid 70's to late 2000's. She's so eccentric. After the exhibit, I went frolicking around the rest of MoMa.

Such a lovely day with clear blue skies. Life's simple pleasures

Enjoying lunch on the rooftop of the MoMa. By the way, I made some minor changes to the site. Finally starting the style section. New banner. More to come. Can't wait to share more with y'all!
