Under Palm Trees

The sun really needs to come out in San Francisco so I can stop making trips down south to catch it :). Okay, that's just my excuse for going to L.A.

I am back in San Francisco from my little stint in L.A. with Around The Bay Gal Xtine. We spent our days shopping, eating, dancing, and hanging out under palm trees... You know, typical Los Angeles shenanigans. Hope everyone else had a great Memorial Day weekend!

But What About The Bay Bridge?

Why doesn't the Bay Bridge get more love then it deserves? The Golden Gate is pretty and big and red and all, but I love the way the Bay Bridge looks at night (brighter, more lights). And in my opinion, I feel like it's used more too!

Spent a nice dinner at Palomino in the Embarcadero a couple days ago, to celebrate my friend's birthday. I love the view of the bridge you get from the restaurant. The place is practically underneath it! Needless to say I'll be back once the weather gets nicer so I can enjoy it from outside.

Birthday gal Christina and I. By the way, did you know Palomino has a happy hour menu everyday? After my shopping habits last weekend, lets just say I am grateful for that!

Airbus To Terminal 2

I'm far from a jet setter, but SFO is probably one of my favorite airports I've been to in California. With the opening of the new Terminal 2 a little over a month ago, I was kind of excited and curious to see what all the hoopla was about before boarding my Virgin America flight to San Diego.

I'm just glad I don't have to go through the International Terminal anymore while flying Virgin. And there's a Plant Cafe Organic there!... Which I tried for the first time last month in the Marina on Steiner and Chestnut street (The Vegan Green Curry is a must try!).

Oh yeah, and be sure to check out the cool skylight art work during your next SFO visit. Happy Travelings!

San Diego Loves Me

I like to get out the city once in awhile.

Beaches galore. I discovered a panoramic option on my camera... Can you tell?

I always have a blast when I make a trip to San Diego, so of course this trip was no different. It was quite nice getting out of San Francisco for a bit. But it's home sweet home once again :).

Summer Is Just Around The Corner

I can not wait till summer in San Francisco because 1) I will be able to bust out my short-shorts and tank top again, and 2) The fog at Bakers Beach won't be covering the top half of our beloved Golden Gate Bridge. Still a pretty site though.

Joey thinks it's pretty, too.

I love Bakers Beach. Having the beach under the Golden Gate Bridge is pretty cool. And of course the nudist side is always in full effect, when the weather permits it on nice days. Today was obviously not one of those nice days.

I'll be doing some traveling down to Southern California this month, starting with San Diego this Wednesday and then lovely Los Angeles with Around The Bay Gal Xtine at the end of May. Watch out, L.A., Xtine and I are ready to play again!
