French macroons. Ooooooo gurrrrllllllllll.
A picture of a Chateau de Lourmarin. A.k.a. my house. And this is before one of those pumpkins in the back turned into a carriage to whisk me away.
A couple days ago we made our way up north to check out some of the local villages around. We stopped by 3 villages: Lourmarin, Bonnieux (pictured above), and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. They were all unique in their own way, one being in a valley, one being perched on the side of a mountain, and another on a river bank. Not to mention I went to the local farmers market here in Aix in the morning. Oh, you can just call me Belle, from Beauty and the Beast from now on.
Moi in the town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
View from the river banks during dinner. Lovely. Just lovely.
I experienced rain for the first time here in France. We used the glasses to catch the rain (picture above), that rain was not playing! The rain actually smelled soooo good though. And it started pouring while we were having dinner on the river banks of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. A lil water ain't hurt nobody.
I'll be making my way to Paris in a couple days! I'm really excited for that. I love Provincial France, but I think it may be time for a change scenery soon! City of Light, imma comin'! Au revoir!
