My Seasonal Affective Disorder Is On Pause... For Now

It's been over 80 degrees in the past 2 days.

Slack roping on the East side of Dolores Park... It's harder then it looks, but tons of fun.

Peach lemonade. Sean got the watermelon basil from Lilah Belles. Yum.

Had to take advantage of this weather just like the rest of San Francisco.

How I Gained 10 Pounds This Past Weekend

I was being a chubs at Fort Mason this past weekend. "Off The Grid" is every Friday, where about 12-15 different "gourmet" food trucks (which seems to be the biggest trend in the food world right now) congregate at Fort Mason and people just... eat. All evening. It's amazing.

My favorites, everyone should try them asap:

Cali Dog - Hot dog with roasted seaweed, Japanese mayo, teri-onion sauce, and chili.

Argentine empanadas, preferably the mushroom empanada.

Chairman Bao - pork belly with pickled daikon, duck confeit with mango, and red seasame chicken, on a steamed bun.

Excuse me as I skip dinner for the next month now.

Runway Sans The Clothes

I was at the Artist Alley in downtown a couple days ago to check out clothes-less runway show they were having. Say what?

Miss Golden Trophy giving us the "Tyra Banks". Instead of clothes, body painters and head pieces by Miss G Designs were being featured at this show. Half naked people covered in paint... I'm there.

I got to meet Miss G at the trunk show I attended in my last post. She mentioned she started making these head pieces for her little nieces and it just grew into her collection she has today. If I ever had a tea party, I would want everyone to wear her fancy hats. Check out Miss G's head art at MissGDesigns.com!

Adventures In Wonderland

It's "Fashion Week" in San Francisco. No, not the type they have in New York or Los Angeles (although that would be amazing). This week is displaying talent from the SFO and around the Bay Area.

To kick off the cluster of events happening around the city leading up to the main runway shows this Saturday, WonderlandSF Gallery and Boutique hosted a trunk show full of the local flavor featured in this weekend's festivities. Around the Bay Gal Xtine and I both attended. We both like buying things. We both like looking at pretty dresses. It was meant to be.

They were all sold. I guess nothing says "adorable" more then a bunny holding a AR-15 glock.

The designers featured in the show were great, but I think I found a new place to put me more in debt at Wonderland itself. Not only do they have fun clothes, accessories, and art pieces, but the owner Irene Hernandez-Feiks was lovely as well. Her boutique is worth checking out!

Thank you Irene for hooking me up with my new Gytha Mander Saddlery... J'adore it!
